Resources

Here would appear a dynamic list of links to resources for both learners and facilitators. The list is divided into two: Main Resources listed at the top; and a collection of Other Resources (minimally used, special purposes, new, or older ones) below. Learners and facilitators would be encouraged to contribute whatever resources they find useful.

Accompanying each resource link would be a brief description of the resource, its media affordances, and a growing collection of links to support this resource - all presented with consideration for the second-language student

Note that the various official resources are hosted in different places, exposing the learner to various ways that they can build their own interaction. The promotion of multi-literacy directly supports the development of autonomous learning, one of the two main purposes of English Eco. Below is a sample Resource list.

Resources List

There are any number of links that could be included in the Additional Resources List, and they would grouped in such categories as blog hosting websites, EFL resource websites, Significant Topic collections, Significant Contributors, ï»¿Bookmarking websites, Podcast lists, general educational or MOOC information.

The purpose of the additional resource list is to include anything that users find useful, thus making the resource more available for others to connect to and decide for themselves if it suits their learning needs.

The Additional Resource list is user driven, linking to individual learner of facilitator blog posts that describe the resource and how they use it. Facilitators should take notice of participants who are using innovative resources and encourage them to create a post about the resource.

As for additional resources on MOOCs and language learning, for those who are interested, here are a few links:

(note: MOOC videos are for basic information purposes - content and the nature of MOOCs (especially for language learning) is always subject to debate).
